In obedience to the national and district guidelines in relation to the public health situation with COVID-19 (Coronavirus), the Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo will be temporarily suspending all its activities. Although we must close our doors, we aim to keep providing culture to Colombia and the world.

Through Teatro Digital, Teatro Mayor and Bancolombia stay committed to their audience by providing access to a selection of works from their programming history. Every Thursday at 8 p.m. Teatro Digital brings a new broadcast.

We invite you to join us the first Thursday of every month to enjoy one of our monthly streamings. Check out the calendar and the availability of each performance and access the transmission at the time that suits you best.

  1. Check with your operator for the speed of your data plan. For mobiles and tablets we recommend WiFi connection instead of 3G or 4G.

  2. Remember that the content is sometimes exclusively available for Colombia.

  3. Our player adapts to your network speed, so you can sometimes see the image pixelated.

  4. If the signal drops or is interrupted, refresh your page.

  5. Remember that the best option is to have one of the following options:

  • 2Mbps internet for normal quality

  • 5Mbps for HD Windows (XP, Vista, 7 and 8) / Mac OS (10.4.11 or higher)

  • Internet Explorer (8 or higher)

  • Firefox (3 or higher),

  • Safari or Google Chrome.

  1. The stream is temporarily unavailable for Smart TV and Windows Phone devices.
