Public Transportation 

1. Transmilenio 

Getting to Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo using transmilenio is pretty easy. Get to know your transportation options. 

Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo is located on Calle 170 # 67-51 in Suba in the Julio Mario Santo Domingo Cultural Center and Public Library. How to get there? From Transmilenio’s Portal Norte, you can take the Alimentador 27- San José (green buses with no cost) and get off in the seventh stop, just in front of the Cultural Center.  

 

2. Driving directions 

Autopista Norte or Carrera Séptima 

  

- If you are coming from south to north, you must turn onto Calle 169, and then turn west towards Avenida Boyacá. 

- If you come from north to south you can turn west on Calle 170 until you reach the Cultural Center. 

- Between the north highway and Avenida Boyacá, vehicular traffic is slow. As an alternative route, we recommend going down 151 to take La Boyacá. 

 

Avenida Boyacá  

- If you come from south to north on Avenida Boyacá you can get to Calle 170 and then turn right. Two streets ahead is the Cultural Center.

3. Parking

The Cultural Centre has an indoors parking lot accessible from Carrera 67, which is located between Calle 169 and 170. Limited capacity.

If you're on Calle 169 heading west, you can turn north at Carrera 67, then you'll see the parking entrance to your left just past the park.

If you're using Avenida Boyacá, turn east onto Calle 170 then south at Carrera 67. You'll se the parking entrance on your right.

 

Before you come, here are some recommendations

  • When buying your ticket, remember to select the e-ticket option so that you can access our venues using your phone.
  • Remember that our tickets are digital, you don't have to print them.
  • We reccomend arriving at least an hour in advance if you have yet to buy or claim your tickets, and half an hour in advance if you already have them. Don't forget to bring a coat.
  • The Teatro Mayor doesn't have a dress code, what's important is for people to feel comfortable and enjoy the show.
  • Once the event is over, we suggest you not to stay in our halls or common areas in order to guarantee your well-being.
  • If you came by car, remember that only our parking garage guarantees to be in service until the end of the show.

Remember that you'll receive the digital program with all the information regarding the show via e-mail if you bought your tickets through our digital channels. You'll also be able to download it by using the QR codes located in the lobby or on the back of the flyer you'll be handed at the hall's entrance. Remember that, by using the digital program, you are contributing to lowering paper consumption at the theatre.
