Audiotrópico is a group from Bogota that combines funk, latin jazz and Colombian folk. They will perform their second production, Ascender (Ascend), that includes 11 tracks full of Latin flavor, cumbia, son and rock. This is a co-production between Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo, Shock Magazine, and Audiotrópico.
Audiotrópico's songs contain urban themes ranging from the everyday to the social, and invite people to see life as a journey full of situations and characters who cross our paths, breaking our daily lives.
The group has participated in festivals such as Jazz al Parque (Jazz in the Park), the Ibero-American Theater Festival, and the Malpensante Magazine Festival.
