Michael Barenboim, violin – France

Michael Barenboim is one of the most versatile and talented artists of his generation.  He is founder and first violinist of the Erlenbusch Quartet, and Concertmaster of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra since 2003.  Accompanied by the Russian pianist Sergei Sitchkov, he visits Teatro Estudio to give a chamber music recital.

Barenboim is a dedicated chamber musician and a frequent guest at festivals such as the Rheingau Musik Festival, Lucerne Festival, Jerusalem Chamber Music Festival, Salzburg Festival, Beethoven Festival in Bonn, and Ruhr Klavier Festival.

He has played with artists such as Denis Kozhukhin, Guy Braunstein, Frans Helmerson, Nobuko Imai, Daniel Barenboim, Karl-Heinz Steffens and Nikolaj Znaider.  Barenboim often performs at major venues like the Musikverein in Vienna and London's Royal Albert Hall.
